A parasitic jaeger (
Stercorarius parasiticus), also known as parasitic skua, is a seabird in the family Stercorariidae. In our study area we often see these birds pursuing and harassing other seabirds, such as seagulls and terns, to force them to disgorge the food they have eaten.
